<title>Freedom Sounds radio show now available</title>

<description>

The Freedom Sounds radio show is now available as an mp3 download from the Freedom Sounds page on the anotherworldmusic website. Hosted by DJ Moth and Steve from Motiv, each show will bring an in-depth focus to a particular artist or genre, whilst the series overall will span the genres from jazz to neo-soul, and afro-funk to contemporary electronic beats. The first show features an extended interview with jazz/nu-jazz keyboard player, producer and composer Mark de Clive-Lowe. It also includes tracks from Mark's live and studio albums, as well as from musical influences such as Harry Whitaker (Black Renaissance), Harvey Mason and Miles Davis.

Benefit by Audio is not just in aid of the homeless, it&rsquo;s partly run by homeless people too. The event photographer, one of the DJs, the flyer designer and members of the promotions team are all homeless. A series of acoustic warm-up gigs around London has seen &lsquo;homed&rsquo; acts perform alongside homeless ones.

<description>Following the retirement of Mr Lee Humber, MOTIV have a new drummer in the form of Justin Pickett.
Justin studied at Weekend Arts College in London with Ian Carr where he joined London Fusion Orchestra. After Touring with the LFO  Justin acted and drummed in the BBC comedy Growing Pains.

<description>MOTIV are very pleased o announce that guitarist Mr Ed Riches has joined their fold.
Ed studied Jazz at Columbia University in New York, and at Michael Garrick's Jazz Academy in London. Since completing his studies, he has been working as a session musician in venues and studios across London.
Ed has worked with various artists, including Zero 7 vocalist Sophie Barker, the South London Jazz Orchestra, Marilyn David and the Sarah Carter Band. Ed's favourite artists are Erik Truffaz, John Scofield, Squarepusher and Wes Montgomery. Keep an ear out for Ed on the new MOTIV tracks.
